Biography

Shane Philips' style reaches back to the era when soul music was truly soul. Strongly influenced by Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway, it's hard not to recognize the emotion and timelessness of Philips' music and live show.

At the age of 25, he is a veteran of the stage with performances at venues including Revival, The Rivoli, C'est What and Jello Bar. His career has also expanded to musical theatre singing lead in a musical review entitled 'DooWop to Motown' and playing Sammy Davis Jr. in the musical 'The Rat Pack' currently touring Canada, Germany and Australia.

Based out of Fergus, Ontario, Philips has played with many accomplished musicians both local and from the G.T.A. and is currently touring with Montreal's finest to create a sound both soulful and inspiring. Having performed with Canadian acts such as The Pocket Dwellers, Ivana Santilli, Carlos Morgan and many more to name a few, Shane Philips is ready to take center stage. It's Show Time!!
