Tour 2026

Shane Philips is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter emerging with a sound that blends soulful folk, powerful vocals, and a message rooted in connection and change. Raised in a family of singers along the Grand River in Fergus, Ontario, he began in church choirs before refining his voice through classical Italian opera training under Edward Johnson—building a rare combination of technical precision and emotional depth.

His songwriting has found its way into film and television, including placements with the Lifetime Network, while national audiences first discovered him through his appearance on The Voice. A formative U.S. tour in 2014, culminating at the San Francisco Folk Festival, helped shape his reputation as a compelling live performer. He later shared the stage with Stevie Wonder at Toronto’s Scotiabank Centre—an experience that further fueled his artistic direction.

Driven by a belief in music as a force for unity, Shane went on to found Band of People, a non-profit collective dedicated to promoting peace through music. He later moved to Nashville, where he wrote and released his debut folk album, Social Justice and Peace, blending storytelling with purpose.

Whether performing in intimate venues or on larger stages, Shane Philips delivers songs that resonate—honest, soulful, and timely. With a new album slated for release in 2026, he is an artist on the rise, inviting audiences alike to be part of a community that share a desire for change.
